Cabernet Sauvignon wines from the Stags Leap District are identified by their rich texture, supple elegant tannins and concentrated flavors of black cherries, currant and chocolate. Stags Leap District vineyards cling to the jagged Vaca Mountain Range to the east and extend to the valley floor on both sides of Napa Valley's historic Silverado Trail. The namesake mass of bare rock reflects the warming sunlight to the surrounding vineyards, while breezes from the San Pablo Bay cool the region by night.
